I had imagined. A little too civilized. There was a stage, tables and
chairs, and the dancing was actually a musical story of the Polynesians
traveling to Hawaii many years ago. Great costumes and dancing. The
pig (Imu) was roasting in the pit and a guy blew the conch shell horn to
announce the Imu was ready. I had imagined sitting in the dirt eating
the pork right off the carcass with our hands, but instead, we sat at
tables and the Luau was set out like a buffet. Lots of food and drink
for all. We felt like we were on a cruise ship. It was a fun evening.
