hours of sleep conditioned us for sleeping I guess. We got up just
before and started our walk down the great walkway Kauai has built along
the ocean on the east side of the island. They say it will soon go 17
miles, but for now it goes for 2 miles, and today we made it all the way
to the end of the paved path. We stopped and photographed a neat lagoon
and the ocean with the sun rising. After we made it back, Barbara asked
"which of these fruits would you rather eat?". I guess we'll have to
find out later, since I didn't pick -- we just had the usual: steak and
eggs.
