Austin, Texas -- State Capitol at Night

We got inside the building just before 10 pm -- the Trooper inside said "here come the Californians" -- Barbara wondered how he knew -- and he said "only a Californian would wear pink and gray." Later he gave in and told us that the Trooper standing guard at the entrance had radioed in that we were from California and to leave the doors open so we could see the rotunda.

It was a perfect evening and the Capitol building was incredibly lit. Yeah!

We were going to photograph the Trooper who told the inside staff that we were Californians, but instead there was a shift change, and we were left to photograph this beautiful Texas Trooper. (I guess Texas does have a few hotties)

The Trooper then snapped our picture, for which we will be eternally grateful!

Roadrunner

Here was a curious little guy who danced around the golf carts during
the 2nd round of the Prestige. I took a lot of shots of him, but his
tuft only popped up this one time!

The Dream Senior

Brittany brought the FUN back to Photography! What a great afternoon we had and what a great sport Brittany is. I think the most fun was throwing leaves on her while Todd did the "action" shots. At one point Brittany was curled up in the saddle of this big tree. When I asked her to walk her legs up the treetrunk, I got a look of "Wha..??? I can't do that!", but I said "come on, you are young and agile", so up the tree her feet went and we got some great shots. Brittany was such a doll and so expressive, it made our job easy. Thanks, Brittany!!
