Thursday was a perfect day for golf in Oregon. I didn't use my umbrella once, and actually gave my jacket to John Grothe as a gift for letting us play this magnificent course (and he really wanted a UC Davis windbreaker!) Also, I birdied this hole... (and so did Williams)

Hammond's birdie putt was probably a bomb that was hit too hard but got lucky and hit the center of the hole from 50 ft; I'm sure Williams was closer off the tee and hit a perfect birdie putt...just my guess
